This is a pair of very rare Levi’s 502 taper Redline Selvedge jeans in 100% cotton. Very hard to find. Most 502 Selvedge jeans have some “stretch“ material in them.
My favorite pair of jeans just don’t fit me anymore. I’m 6’ tall and the 30/32 is a bit tight and a little short for my taste. The jeans have shrunk a little since new in 2016. Probably perfect fit for someone with 28-29 waist and 30 inseam 5’ 8”-10”
These are 100% cotton and every “denimhead“ knows 100% is the best. Because they are 100%, they will fade more authentically than the modern stretch version.
The red stitch running through the white edge of the inner seam is the iconic hallmark of premium Levi's denim.
The color of these jeans is perfect in my opinion. This specific wash (0030) in the Selvedge finish was a limited-tier release.
These jeans are just now coming into their own. They will hold their shape and develop beautiful, high-contrast fades over time.
Wish they still fit me. My loss, your gain.
