Beautiful early 20th century hand-painted Limoges porcelain cabinet plate from the Coronet line (George Borgfeldt importer, marked “Limoges Coronet France” on reverse, circa 1906-1920).
Features a stunning depiction of a flying game bird (snipe/shorebird) over grasses and berries, with soft blended shading and an art nouveau feel. Artist signed “Fredy” near the bottom. Scalloped rim with ornate molded design and heavy gilt accents. Ready for wall display with attached hanging wire and holes on back.
Excellent antique condition: vibrant colors, no chips/cracks/crazing/repairs. Light typical gold wear on high points of rim. A lovely decorative piece for collectors of French Limoges, game bird motifs, or vintage wall plates.
